LDMOS Over-current Protection module 40A, 80A, 120A 25-62V
$100.00 $100.00LDMOS Over-current Protection module 40A,80A and 120A 25-62V
There are 3 versions of this board, a single, double, or a triple BTS50085 installed
This unit serves a few purposes. It acts as a DC switch and also is an adjustable current protection module.
It connects to the DC line between the power supply and the amplifier.
Even though LDMOS devices are very rugged they can still benefit from an overcurrent trip circuit in case of a fault.
This unit is based on the Infineon BTS50085 module. Once the current reaches the set threshold it will trip the MOSFET turning off the power to the amplifier.
This can prevent the very costly failure of the LDMOS device.
Momentarily grounding the on or off pin will turn the DC voltage on or off.
It has very low on-resistance so there will be virtually no power loss through the device.
Designed and manufactured in Australia.
